SANDY HOOK TO BARNEGAT INLET, NJ

Proctection is provided by constructing a 100-foot wide beach berm at an elevation of 10 feet above mean low water (MLW). The project also includes sand renourishment of the restored beaches on a 6-year cycle for a period of 50 years from the start of initial construction.
