The applicant is requesting a DA permit to remove 52 existing mooring piles and 250 square feet (SF) of timber water access staircases. Approximately 40 linear feet (LF) of the existing timber bulkhead will be replaced inplace, with the installation of a 9-foot bulkhead return. The project further includes the construction of a 5-foot-wide by 35-foot-long (175 SF) pile-supported catwalk, a 4-footwide by 52-foot-long (208 SF) aluminum gangway, and four floats totaling 2,205 SF. The floating dock system will be secured by 24 guide piles, with an additional 62 mooring piles installed to provide mooring capacity for 58 vessels.
