The applicant is requesting a DA permit to install a 70-footwide
by 125-foot-long floating barge, with a 25-foot and 45-foot bowloader ramp,
secured by six (6) 36-inch steel pipe anchor pile and collars. The barge will be
connected to the pier with two (2) 10-foot-wide by 80-foot-long gangways secured by
three (3) 16-inch support piles. Six (6) 36-inch slip monopiles and two (2) 26-inch
berthing piles will be installed on the northeast side of the proposed float. Approximately
59 cubic yards of concrete will be placed within the piles, below the plane of mean
higher high water.
