U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to Hold a Public Meeting Edison and Woodbridge Townships and the Borough of Sayreville New Jersey – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has scheduled a public meeting to present information on the Proposed Plan for Dredge Spoil Areas 4 and 6, as well as the Proposed Plan for Area 11 and Dredge Spoil Area 2; Area 12, the Open Burn/Open
Detonation Area and Dredge Spoil Area 3; Areas 16 and 16A – Munitions and Explosives of Concern in Soil at the former Raritan Arsenal, a Formerly Used Defense Site located in New Jersey. The public meeting will be held on December 17, 2025 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Edison Senior Citizen Center, 2963 Woodbridge Avenue, Edison, NJ 08837. Interested members of the public are invited to attend. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers representatives will be available to answer any questions. Documents related to the Proposed Plan for the munitions and explosives of concern in soil attributable to historical Army activities of the former Raritan Arsenal are available for review through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers website for the former Raritan Arsenal (https://www.nae.usace.army.mil/missions/projects-topics/formerraritan-arsenal/) or at the Information Repository: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – New York District, 2890
