U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Announces Public Information Sessions in Support of Public Comment for 2025 Dredged Material Management Plan Update

NEW YORK - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announces the start of a 30-day public comment period for 2025 Dredged Material Management Plan Update. We encourage all interested parties to review the report and provide written feedback for consideration.
 
In 2025, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers New York District is updating its Dredged Material Management Plan (DMMP) for the Port of New York and New Jersey. This strategic update ensures the continued safe and efficient maintenance of federal navigation channels while promoting environmentally sound and cost-effective management of dredged materials.

Comment Period: April 7, 2025, to May 7, 2025
 
To support the public’s review and understanding of 2025 Dredged Material Management Plan Update, we will host four public information sessions. These sessions will provide an overview of the report and offer an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about how to submit comments.
