238 Years - Army Strong

The Army dates its official birth to June 14, 1775.

Since then, the U.S. Army has been at the forefront of defending the freedom that makes our country great.  Since our nation's early days, many generations of brave men and women have risked and given their lives in defense of our nation's ideals and values.  Soldiers exemplify honor, integrity and personal courage and have selflessly performed their duty as guardians and defenders of our country and interests abroad.

238 Years and Still BUILDING STRONG

June 16th is the 238th birthday of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is the Nation's premier engineering organization and stands ready to support the country’s military and water resources needs in the 21st century as it has done during its more than two centuries of service.
