The applicant, Town of Brookhaven, has requested Department of the Army authorization to perform dredging with ten-year maintenance, and placement of the dredged sand at a Town of Brookhaven owned beach upland of the Spring High Water (SHW) line. The dredging activity associated with this project is located at Areskonk Creek, a tributary of Moriches Bay, in Center Moriches, Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County, New York. The sand placement will occur at Webby’s Beach in Center Moriches, Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County, New York.
