The New York District, Corps of Engineers has received a permit application from the Palisades Interstate Park Commission to perform dredging, with ten years maintenance and upland disposal of the existing 116 slip Alpine Boat Basin. The Alpine Boat Basin would be dredged to a depth of -4 feet below the plane of Mean Low Water. The project site is located within the Hudson River, in the Borough of Alpine, Bergen County, New Jersey.
