The New York District, Corps of Engineers has received an application for a Department of the Army permit pursuant to Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (33 U.S.C. 403) and Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S.C. 1344). The applicant, Mark DeAngelis of West Sayville Boat Basin, has requested Department of the Army authorization for dredging with ten-year maintenance, bulkhead replacement, and discharge of fill rip-rap associated with shoreline stabilization in Great South Bay, Village of West Sayville, Town of Islip, Suffolk County, New York.
