The permit applicant, Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation, has requested Department of the Army authorization to replace approximately 1,600 linear feet of existing deteriorated concrete and granite seawall with approximately 1,400 linear feet of riprap revetment, 100 linear feet of granite and Concrete seawall to be rebuilt and a 100 linear foot section of concrete seawall to remain. The project is located on the shoreline of the East and West Channels of the East River, on Roosevelt Island in the Borough of Manhattan, New York County, City of New York, New York.
