The applicant, Suffolk County Department of Public Works, has requested Department of the Army (DA) authorization to conduct dredging, with ten-year maintenance with placement of all resultant dredged material at an existing diked off upland area southwest of Timber Point East Marina navigation channel. The project is located off the Connetquot River, a tributary of Nicoll Bay in the Town of Islip, Suffolk County, New York.
