The permit applicant, Suffolk County Department of Public Works (SCDPW), has requested Department of the Army (DA) authorization to conduct dredging, with ten-years maintenance with placement of all resultant dredged material at an upland diked disposal area with return flow to the waterway. The project is located at Green Creek, a tributary of Great South Bay in the Town of Islip, Suffolk County, New York.
