ACTIVITY: The stated purpose of this project is to replace the existing deteriorated ferry
landing and replace it with a new ferry landing. The ferry landing will support ferry
service to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, and to serve as an emergency
access point within the New York Harbor region.
