Army Corps hosting public information session regarding ongoing cleanup work at the former Raritan Arsenal

NEW YORK – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District, will host a public information session September 25, 2013 to discuss ongoing remedial work regarding the former Raritan Arsenal. Corps personnel will be available to talk to the public about ongoing cleanup activities, progress toward site closure, ordnance field investigations to commence this fall 2013 and the status of the indoor-air investigation at the former Raritan Arsenal site, located within boundaries of the Raritan Center.

The session will be open to any interested members of the public as well as any interested media representatives. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will give a presentation with information about ongoing former Raritan Arsenal cleanup activities and then the public will be able to ask questions.
