The permit applicant, the Governor’s Office of Storm Recovery, has requested Department of the Army authorization to discharge fill into and place structures within navigable and other waters of the United States to facilitate work to increase coastal resiliency along the Tottenville shoreline and enhance ecosystem and shoreline access use. The project site is located in the Borough of Staten Island (Tottenville), Richmond County, New York.
