The applicant, Eaton Harbor Corp, has requested Department of the Army authorization for beach nourishment to approximately 20,000 square feet of inter-tidal beach and for the purpose of restoring the beach shoreline elevations. As part of the beach nourishment, the existing Spartina alterniflora will be removed and replanted once the nourishment work is complete. The project site is located at the terminus of Beach Road in Northport, Suffolk County, NY.
