The applicant requests authorization for the temporary deployment, not to exceed 10 days of an approximately 50-foot-wide by 150-foot-long JW Barge with a temporary spud anchored flexi-float dock, and 34-foot-wide by 195-foot-long John Blanche 450,000-gallon fuel barges to deliver 4 million gallons of light distillate fuel to the Linden Generating Station. The fuel will be transferred in eight-inch diameter marine grade hose over approximately 200 feet of open water and then across approximately 500 feet of upland to the site. The purpose of the project is a one-time transfer of fuel from a barge to the Linden Generating Station to meet winter heating season demands.
